Who can resist the lure of the coast? I read that 75% of the world’s population lives within 50 miles of an ocean coast. An amazing statistic, if true. I love to live near water, and here in Seattle that’s so easy. The two scenes of Puget Sound below were taken recently from the Normandy Park cove beach. Here in Seattle it’s drizzly and gray, so I went back to my Arizona trip photos for a beautiful sky to post for today. This was taken not too far from Sedona. For more fascinating views of skies around the world, click HERE.

I really like this photo, taken from a fast-moving car (I wasn’t driving!) while we were in Arizona last year. I remember how gray it was in Seattle at the time, and how much I loved the vast, brilliantly sunny, crystal clear air landscape.
