One of the great pleasures of a foreign trip is seeing what grows well there. I was so pleased to see this outdoor display of poinsettia plants in San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico, last month.

San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has a few rooftop bars with a view. Here are the churches of the Centro viewed from the top of the Rosewood Hotel at dusk on a warm February evening.

Got back recently from a trip to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. My sister had a big party. There were dancers! Have you ever seen costumes anything like this?

I know flamingos are supposed to be pink, but the ones I saw in Florida a couple of years ago seemed maybe more orange. Posting just for fun on this gray Seattle day.

The elevated viaduct in Seattle is slated to come down later this year. The views we will miss are not only of the water.
