Today was the day for picking fruit in our backyard. The netting on the cherry tree worked! We have a 5-graft tree from Raintree Nursery, and this is the tree’s third year. The boysenberries are good this year, too. The raspberries not so much, and the blueberries are just getting going. What treasure!

Of course lots of watering needed with this heatwave in Seattle (locals get crazy if it’s over 80 or so) and the water droplets on the dark daylilies only add to the beauty.
