Just two short weeks ago I took this on a walk around the block. Now the wind has taken them all. But they were so beautiful while they lasted. Almost like a flower that way. I just love the way the water droplets (this is Seattle, after all) look like rubies on the leaves. This was on a walk just a week or two ago. At least I got the bulbs planted before the recent deluge.

We have two columnar apple trees. They are about a foot wide and four feet tall, and have full size apples, so amazing. This from last year around this time. Happy Ruby Tuesday, all! Join the fun by posting a photo with red in it HERE.

It’s early fall in Seattle, so how can you do Ruby Tuesday with anything except leaves? Although the great thing about this idea is that people around the world have their own interpretation.
