A river scene for your pleasure, taken on an April day on the way back from a birthday trip to Astoria, Oregon. We stopped at some little river and bought oysters, and the sun came out for a moment. For other watery interpretations, click HERE. You can also see some scenic posts HERE.

You can’t beat sunsets for enjoying looking at skies. I don’t know why we love them so, but we do. Add in a few boats and a still evening, and we are so happy to be there. The magic of photography is that we can keep those moments, and remember. Happy Skywatch Friday to you all!

These koi were at the Portland Japanese Garden. An truly spectacular place, and soon it will really be coming into its spring wonder. I totally recommend it. Just wait until the azaleas bloom.

This was taken at a campground near Mt. Ranier in Washington state. There were floods later on which roared through this area and it may not be possible to camp here any more.

I’m trying something new. I took a video, my very first, of the creek because it sounded so wonderful and with these newfangled digital cameras, you can. On a walk near my house yesterday I snapped this photo looking south. Yes, that is a tiny boat down there.

It’s so gray and rainy now, I crave the bright days of summer. This was taken in June at a neat little garden South of Seattle. Go visit it if you are in the neighborhood.
